The Glory Year

Now, I know the saying is, "The Glory YEARS!" But as a life long Padre fan, I have seen ONE glory YEAR...and it wasn't as glorious as it sounds. We got dominated by the Yanks in the series. None the less, in my lifetime 1998 was the GLORY YEAR for me. The tourney started tonight at 1 AM pacific time in some asain country. But the realy tourney doesnt start until saturday at 11 AM pacific time when the US Team takes on Canada in Canadia.

If the US can get some pitching from a few people we should be in good shape...you know jake is going to mow down the competition and the D-Train is still not on a major league roster (or WBC roster) we should be in good shape. Someone I would have liked to see on the roster...Tim Lincicum...Where you at?

Either way, I'll be chanting U-S-A at 11 am on saturday!!
